Amanda Wong, PA-C, MSPAS is a nationally certified physician assistant. She is a local Nevadan, raised in Carson City before moving to Reno where she graduated with Latin distinction from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. She attended the nationally ranked physician assistant studies program at University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where she received her Master’s Degree.
Amanda has a holistic patient-centered approach and a strong passion for providing patient care that empowers individuals to understand their body throughout different stages in life. Whether it is discussing contraception, sexual health, or postpartum, perimenopause and menopausal changes, she is deeply committed to learning about and addressing her patients’ concerns. She has extensive experience working in primary care and Women’s Health in underserved and resource-restricted communities. Amanda strives to provide exceptional and compassionate care to the community through listening to her patients’ concerns, practicing quality, evidence-based medicine and fostering collaborative relationships with her patients.
Amanda and her husband are both Nevada natives and together, they have one boy and two dogs. They enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, especially if it involves hiking, fishing, rock-climbing, or kayaking.
