Falon Schnieder obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, in Human Development and Family Studies. She went on to earn a master’s degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from UNR.
She began her career providing therapy to children and adolescents with acute mental health challenges but discovered a deep passion for perinatal mental health and overall well-being for women.
Over the past ten years as a therapist, she has also developed a strong interest in trauma and attachment, exploring how these factors impact all areas of life. She strives to work alongside her clients to help them find empowerment, their voice, and fulfillment. She is a firm advocate for her clients, supporting them in navigating systems that often fail to acknowledge their concerns and challenges.
In addition to perinatal mental health, trauma, and attachment, she has experience working with OCD and providing exposure and response prevention therapy. She also has expertise in supporting foster and adoptive parents and understanding child development.
A longtime Nevada resident, she lives with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Disneyland or any destination with a beach to soak up the water and sunshine.
